<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>I am running latest stable version of Suricata 2.0.7.<div>After couple of days my box (with 140gigs of RAM) runs out of memory or gets pretty close. After a week or so it completely runs out of memory and crashes.</div><div><br></div><div>I've ran dev version of Suricata in parallel (2.1beta3) with the same configuration and got different results.</div><div><br></div><div>2.0.7: After 3 days 95% of RAM utilization (box has 140gigs total) and 0.002% packet loss.</div><div>2.1beta3: After 3 days 66% of RAM utilization (box has 140 gigs total) and about 4% packet loss.</div><div><br></div><div>My traffic is 99% http and it seems that there is a memory leak in 2.0.7. possible http session tracking??</div><div><br></div><div>Does anybody know a way to diagnose this problem to find out what is causing memory leak/over utilization? </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks.</div> </div></body>
