</span>Normally Suricata will detect the number of cores and spawn as many<br>
packet worker threads.<br>

You should see a log message similar to:<br>

"all 8 packet processing threads, 4 management threads initialized,<br>
engine started"<br>
<br>
(this example is for a 8 core CPU)<br>
