Hi ,
 Suricata  2.0beta1 packages are now available for Ubuntu on Ubuntu
PPA(Launchpad).
   - 10.04 Lucid
   - 12.04 Precise
   - 12.10 Quantal
   - 13.04 Raring
   - 13.10 Saucy
 32 and 64 bit packages available.
*T*he packages are build-in with:*

   - *IPS (nfqueue) *
   - *GeoIP*
   - *NSS  enabled* (aka MD5 enabled, ready to use out of the box
   installation. More info:

also
by community request there is also available "suricata-dbg" (Suricata with
enabled debug features) package ready to use out of the box install:
"sudo apt-get install suricata-dbg".
Suricata 2.0beta1 is available from our *suricata-beta*  PPA repository.
