Hi Agha,

First, you wait for approval from one of the moderators, as I imagine you
know.

Then, after they give their ok (they'll likely reply to your message saying
you may claim it), you go to Suricata's issues list, and, clicking on the
three dots that appear on the right most side of the issue ("Actions"), you
change "Assignee" to yourself: when you click on the three dots, then on
"Assignee", you'll see a list of names. You can either click on yours, or
on << me >>, and that issue will be assigned to you.

[Explaining every step, because I myself didn't know how, when I claimed my
first issue...]
