[Discussion] Next OISF Brainstorming Session

Assuming the RAID brainstorming provides feedback and guidance as need
then it may be worthwhile to have some time to the next meeting. There
is a conference in Chicago that could be worth piggy backing and the
timing is about right.

CCS (Computer and Communication Security) runs Oct 17-21

Thanks a lot Joe!

We've been looking too, and while we can find some great venues, we're
thinking maybe we ought to plan to do it in chicago alongside the next
good conference in town.

What do you all think?

We'll have the RAID brainstorming session the week or so before we were
planning chicago. Maybe we do another one in chicago in 3 or 4 months at
the next good conf?

TechNexus, that has a facility that could accommodate up to 200 people
and may be willing to cut a deal or give us the use of the space for
free.

Especially when we can do them in conjunction with another conference,
makes what it costs the foundation about nothing.

looking at around the last week of September. Are there any other
conferences going on near there we could be beside?

They have generously offered to let us speak again, have a brainstorming
session, and they're inviting any Vendors that have a suricata device to
come demo and speak. This is a HUGE offer in that Deepsec normally
doesn't allow ANY vendors speak/demo at the conference.
