[Discussion] Next OISF Brainstorming Session

We are planning several meetings, so we can do them many places. Especially when we can do them in conjunction with another conference, makes what it costs the foundation about nothing.

So I think a chicago meeting would be brilliant, how about we start looking at around the last week of September. Are there any other conferences going on near there we could be beside?

We are invited to Deepsec in Vienna in November, week of the 15th. They have generously offered to let us speak again, have a brainstorming session, and they're inviting any Vendors that have a suricata device to come demo and speak. This is a HUGE offer in that Deepsec normally doesn't allow ANY vendors speak/demo at the conference.

Then we have RAID in Menlo Park september 20-21. So perhaps we could drag victor and some of the other coding team members out to RAID, then over to Chicago. Make the most of the travel dollars.

How does that strike everyone?

Matt
