Hi,
Please find the new (first version) of our stable Suricata 1.2.1 Windows
Zero Touch Installation package - 32 bit.
It is tested on a number of win platforms, however more testing is needed
for windows specific bugs.
The installer is a normal/native windows "msi" package and it will create
Desktop shortcuts and Program Menu folders.
Just to point out a couple of things:
1. In order to install - just double click on the package
2. Depending on your Windows set up and environment you might want to
run it "run as Administrator" or with an Administrator account.
3. You need winpcap in order to run Suricata. You can get it from here:
http://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm
For those interested - please come up with suggestions or bug reports.
You can download the Suricata package for Windows from here:
https://redmine.openinfosecfoundation.org/projects/suricata/files
The package is called
Suricata1.2.1WinInstall32bitVer1.0.msi
The 64 bit package is on the way as well.
Thank you
