Hello everyone,

I'm writing about an inquiry to find out if it is possible to
pass a variable to Suricata from the command line. Snort has
such feature with the "-S <n=v>" switch, so you can pass the e.g.
HOME_NET variable as it follows -S HOME_NET=192.168.0.0/16 .

BTW, you can expect a new release of www.smoothsec.org within two weeks
of time.

Best,

Phillip
