[Oisf-users] Problem with building from git and gnu autotools?

What I ended up doing was building a chroot sandbox to test the build
process on my server. This worked, so indeed it must have been an issue
with the build environment.
Reinstalling the toolchain + autotools ultimately fixed the problem.
