[Oisf-users] Suricata 2.0 stable packages are now available on Ubuntu PPA (Launchpad)

Hi ,

 Suricata 2.0 stable packages are now available for Ubuntu on Ubuntu
PPA(Launchpad).


   - 10.04 Lucid
   - 12.04 Precise
   - 12.10 Quantal
   - 13.10 Saucy
   - 14.04 Trusty

 32 and 64 bit packages available.

The packages are build-in with:

   - *IPS (nfqueue) *
   - *Eve - all JSON log output** for events: alerts, HTTP, DNS, SSH, TLS
   and (extracted) files; *
   - *GeoIP*
   -
*Unix-Socket *
   - *NSS  enabled* (aka MD5 enabled, ready to use out of the box
   installation. More info:

also

by community request there is also available "suricata-dbg" (Suricata with
enabled debug features) package ready to use out of the box install:
"sudo apt-get install suricata-dbg".

Suricata 2.0 is available from our *suricata-stable*  PPA repository.

Lucid has no JSON output available due to lack of support of the libjansson
library.
