I am trying to compile suricata 2.1beta3 and running into an issue.

I am trying to use PF_RING which contains it's own version of libpcap.

My configure line is as follows:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var -enable-pfring -enable-geoip -with-libpfring-includes=/usr/local/pfring/include/ -with-libpfring-libraries=/usr/local/pfring/lib/ -with-libpcap-includes=/usr/local/pfring/include/ -with-libpcap-libraries=/usr/local/pfring/lib/ -with-libnss-libraries=/usr/lib/ -with-libnss-includes=/usr/include/nss/ -with-libspr-libraries=/usr/lib/ -with-libnspr-includes=/usr/include/nspr

I am getting an error that my libpcap is not installed.

I've used this configure command for 2.0.7 and it works just fine. I did not have to install libpcap since PF_RING supplied appropriate one.

Any ideas?

Does suricata 2.1beta3 require a unique version of libpcap?

Thank you.
