[Oisf-users] CENTOS 7 PFRing kernel panic bro/libpcap

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has experienced the issue mentioned here
http://lists.ntop.org/pipermail/ntop/2015-June/018634.html? I am
experiencing the exact same thing in Centos 7 where i have build pfring,
loaded the module and linked bro to the pfring libpcap but as soon as it
starts the system immediately crashes and reboots.

I installed the centos RPM from the ntop repository too but the problem
with this is there is no libpcap to link to. Has anyone else encountered
this before?

While I can use afpacket for Suricata I want to use pfring for bro but it
is causing me issues and I am not sure the way round it. Any help given
will be greatly appreciated.
