[Oisf-wg-configuration_language] OISF Configuration Language Working Group Kickoff

Thank you all for joining this working group. Your ideas are very much
required for this to work!

The goal of this group is to make recommendations for a configuration
language for the OISF IDS engine. Items to consider should include but
not be limited to:

    * A standard syntax for ALL modules and directive
    * An easily machine parseable model
    * Something extensible
    * Something easy for the beginner to grasp

The recommendations of this group should be posted here and to the OISF
mailing lists by August 12 2009.

This group is lead by Jason Ish (jason at ish.cx).
