[Oisf-users] Debian Lenny + Plesk + Suricata - Server will never reboot - stuck on portmap daemon.

Hi

I have installed Suricata (0.92) in IPS mode (inline)

It all seemed to work - I tested a drop rule and it seems to have worked
fine.

The one main issue however is that when running Suricata, after I reboot the
server just gets 'stuck' shutting down, it stops on 'stopping portmap
daemon'  - I have left it for about 6 mins and it stays stuck.

When I do not run Suricata this does not happen.

I do have Plesk (the worst web control panel ever) which installs portmap by
default.

At the moment the server needs manual intervention to reboot (when Suricata
is running).

Can you suggest anything that may help?
