I am trying to build Suricata 2.0.3 with prelude support. This is a clean install on a RED HAT distro
I have installed libprelude and all of the devel pacakges via yum. when running the configure command it errors at this point.
checking for libprelude-config... /usr/bin/libprelude-configchecking for libprelude - version >= 0.9.9... no*** Could not run libprelude test program, checking why...*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the*** exact error that occured. This usually means LIBPRELUDE was incorrectly installed*** or that you have moved LIBPRELUDE since it was installed. In the latter case, you*** may want to edit the libprelude-config script: /usr/bin/libprelude-configconfigure: error: Cannot find libprelude: Is libprelude-config in the path?
Everything is in the default install directories. /usr/bin/libprelude-config does in fact exist.
And ideas on what could be wrong?
